About Us
Georgetown Islamic Center (GIC) was established in 2018 to establish a prayer space and community center for the growing Muslim population in Georgetown, Hutto, and North Round Rock. GIC purchased a 6.5 acre property with 2 buildings for $2.4 million in March 2022. It is currently being utilized as a Masjid and hosts a wide variety of programs for the community.
Our Vision
Create an Institution that will serve the Georgetown/Hutto/N Round Rock communities with a Masjid and an Islamic Education Center. We strive to seek the pleasure of Allah by spreading the teachings of Islam in the light of Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
